Margot Robbie’s press tour for Barbie was one for the books, and she paid homage to our favorite doll every time she hit the red carpet. Her stylist Andrew Mukamal carefully picked outfits that were perfect replicas of the iconic looks from Barbie’s past, and these five definitely stole the show.
The Original
Robbie set the bar high for the rest of the press tour while promoting the movie in Sydney, where she delivered a homage to the first-ever Barbie from 1959 in a black and white Hervé Léger dress.
Day To Night
The Oscar-nominated star kept rocking our world while promoting the movie in South Korea and delivered not one, but two pink-tastic Versace looks inspired by “Day to Night” Barbie from 1985.
Sparkling Pink
Robbie joined forces with Moschino to deliver another retro look inspired by Barbie’s heritage. She truly dazzled us with this shiny three-piece ensemble, completed with a matching headpiece, heart-shaped handbag, and Manolo Blahnik shoes.
Solo in the Spotlight
After a series of pink outfits, Robbie took a break from Barbie’s signature color at the film’s world premiere and perfectly recreated the “Solo in the Spotlight” look in a show-stopping black Schiaparelli gown.
Enchanted Evening
The Australian actress knocked us off our feet while promoting Barbie in London, where she turned heads in a baby pink Vivienne Westwood gown that took us straight to the 60s.
