All About Jennifer Lopez’s Wedding Look

Jennifer Lopez is officially a married woman after walking down the aisle over the weekend. She and Ben Affleck rekindled their romance 15 months ago after having previously dated and been engaged in the mid-2000s.

The lovebirds opted to get hitched in Las Vegas, but there was nothing impromptu about this wedding!

The gorgeous bride wore not one, but two, dresses for her big day, revealing via her website that one was “a dress from an old movie”, while she had been saving the other for a special occasion.

“I’ve had this dress for so many years, and I’ve just been saving it, saving it, saving it, and now I’m wearing it on my wedding day,” said the “Ain’t Your Mama” singer in an Instagram video posted by her hairstylist, Chris Appleton.

The Alexander McQueen dress in question personified simplicity and elegance with its classic boatneck and A-line waist. Reaching to the floor, it featured a subtle print and even had a matching handbag.

Whilst at the Little White Wedding Chapel, where so many fellow stars have said their “I do’s”, JLo chose to don another gown—the one referred to in her post. Designed by Zuhair Murad, who created the wedding outfit for Jen’s character in Marry Me, this dress included an off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline, long lace sleeves, a fishtail train, and a matching veil.

The look was completed with the artist’s classic bouncy curls and smoky eyes. “We felt the hair shouldn’t be overly done,” said Appleton. “I pulled back the front of the hair on either side to keep the face open—still with the illusion of the hair being down. The technique was all about getting a gorgeous, luxe finish to the hair. I wanted an effortless, flowy feeling—that when she walked, the hair bounced.”
