Listening to live music is one of life’s greatest joys. Whatever the setting, the experience of musicians and singers performing at the moment is incredible. For many people, their favorite artists are huge acts with a massive fanbase, and as such their live performances are held in huge venues to enormous crowds. These experiences can be incredible but are also quite daunting. Being well-prepared for the night can make all the difference, so here are some helpful tips to keep in mind.
Bring Earplugs
This might sound strange if you’re super excited to hear your artist performing live, but these are so essential if you end up too near to a speaker, especially if the base is turned up. You will still be able to hear and enjoy the sound, but with just a slight buffer to protect your hearing and make it less uncomfortable. The great thing about earplugs is they’re super compact, so if you end up somewhere where the sound isn’t too intense then it doesn’t matter if you don’t end up using them.
Take Water With You
A simple but crucial tip. Those big crowds can often be hot and intense, so having plenty of water to hydrate you is essential. Trying to buy it there may well prove time-consuming and expensive.
Plan a Meeting Point With Your Group
Hopefully, you won’t get separated, but with those big crowds, you never know so it’s always a good idea to have a clear meeting point if you do end up apart. Relying on phones to find each other is not always the best idea, as it will be noisy and you may not have a good signal.
