The pop star has been working for months with the high end fashion label Manolo Blahnik, developing a series of high heels that will soon be available for the public.
The six-piece collection is titled Denim Desserts, and the promotional cover shoot for Vogue UK, shows Rihanna in a thigh-high pair of crystal covered boots while standing topless draped in an embroidered denim coat.
When interviewed about the collaboration, Rihanna expressed her excitement as seeing her shoes being worn. “The day I see a woman in the street wearing my shoes…,” she giggled, “I am sorry for that woman because I am going to literally run after her, shouting, ‘Stop! Selfie! Who are you? Where did you get them?’ I’m going to have a moment!”
She also told interviewers that the shoes will be ultra sensual, and warns against wearing them on the first date, unless you don’t want to be sleeping alone, “Those boots are dangerous! If you’re trying to get back home to your bed (alone), don’t wear them boots! You will get kidnapped in those boots, those boots are trouble.”
The shoes will be on sales at Manolo Blahnik stores in New York City, London and Hong Kong, priced from $895 – $3,995.
