Having been great friends for years, it was just fitting that Priyanka is invited to the Royal Wedding of her friend, Meghan Markle.
In an interview, Priyanka just confirmed her attendance but announced that she will not be a bridesmaid on the May 19 wedding. She also added that “I’m super excited about her and her big day,” she told the mag. “It’s not just going to be life-changing for both of them, it’s life-changing for the world that needs to see strong women as icons, and I think Meghan has the potential to be that.”
Harry already asked William to be his best man and he gratefully accepted. It can be recalled that William also had Harry as his best man during his wedding with Kate back in 2011. Meanwhile, Meghan has yet to announce her maid of honor but the names of her longtime BFFs, Doria Ragland and Jessica Mulroney, are surfacing as strong candidates for the role.
Surely, Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be walking down the aisle as well.
As to what Priyanka will wear, she stated that she already had an idea but has still not finalized it yet.
