Plane Tips for Your Next Trip

For many of us, it has been over two years since we stepped on a plane. But as the world begins to open up again and travel returns to the table, it is time to brush up on our plane etiquette. Here are things you should know about flying that you may have forgotten since you were last 38,000 feet in the air.

Keep Cool

Remember that TikTok sound, “don’t be suspicious”? Well, try not to act suspicious when walking onto the plane. Flight attendants greet all passengers at the door when they embark, but they also take this opportunity to look out for any potentially suspicious behavior.

Caffeine Hiatus

It is well known that caffeine dehydrates the body. Something else that dehydrates is the air pressure at that altitude. To combat the effects, stay away from coffee for at least 12 hours before your flight.

Say No to Coke

Diet Coke is one of the most popular drinks on the planet—and that doesn’t change thousands of feet in the air. But in the time it takes the bubbles of the beverage to settle, the flight attendant could have served three other passengers. Order a tomato juice instead—studies show it tastes better on planes!
