Kylie Jenner is a reality star, a makeup mogul, and now, a mom. The 20-year-old youngest Kardashian-Jenner sibling recently gave birth to her first child on February 1st, a girl. The newborn is Kylie and rapper Travis Scott’s first child. They have not decided on a name yet. The little girl weighed in at 8 lbs., 9 oz. and arrived at 4:43 p.m. local time.
While reports swirled in late September 2017 that Kylie was expecting her first baby, the reality star never confirmed the pregnancy herself. In the meantime, Jenner stayed out of the spotlight and appeared to fans mostly on her social media accounts. “I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions,” wrote Jenner. “I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world.” Continued Jenner, “I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.”
She and 25-year-old Travis were romantically linked back in April 2017, but have yet to publicly comment on their romance. However, that hasn’t stopped them from packing on the PDA and even debuting matching tattoos. A few days after the birth, Jenner posted on instagram, finally confirming the birth of her baby girl. Jenner also shared a lengthy montage of videos from her pregnancy, including a quick shot of her and the baby in the delivery room after her arrival.
