How to Make a Fruit-Filled Acai Bowl at Home

Acai bowls have become a popular healthy eating choice, thanks to their delicious taste and high nutritional value. Originating from Brazil, these bowls are packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, making them a perfect breakfast or snack option. Here’s how you can make a vibrant and tasty fruit-filled acai bowl at home.

Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen unsweetened acai packs (100 grams each)
  • 1/4 cup of apple juice, coconut water, or almond milk (for blending)
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 cup sliced mango
  • Granola
  • Sliced bananas
  • Fresh berries
  • Shredded coconut
  • Chia seeds
  • Honey or agave syrup (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Break the frozen acai packs into smaller pieces and place them in a blender. Add half of the banana and your choice of liquid. Blend on high until smooth but still thick. 
  2. Pour the blended acai mixture into a bowl. Use the back of a spoon to smooth the top.
  3. Arrange the sliced fruits like mango, the remaining banana, and mixed berries over the acai base. Sprinkle granola over the top for crunch, and add a few dashes of chia seeds and shredded coconut for texture and extra nutrition. 
  4. Drizzle with honey or agave syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste.
