You’re Feeling Unfulfilled
We won’t dive too deeply into what it means to be “happy” in a job—because at the end of the day, a job is a job, and how many jobs out there are truly meaningful? However, there is something to be said about remaining static in your position at your company. If you’ve been working somewhere for five years and they still won’t promote you to new heights, it may be time to look elsewhere for a company that’ll appreciate you more.
There’s a Better Salary Out There
Sometimes we don’t realize how much money we could be making somewhere else until we do the research. We’re satisfied with our salary because we think that’s all we could be making. But if you step outside your comfort zone and discover that you could make more somewhere else, this can be a great reason to leave your current role. Hey, money’s money, right?
