Taylor Swift hasn’t given us a new album in quite some time because she’s been busy working on her re-recordings, but that will change pretty soon. Her tenth studio album Midnights is coming our way and here’s everything you should know about it before it hits the shelves.
Title, Release Date & Album Cover
Swift announces her new album will be released on October 21 at this year’s MTV VMAs and later took to social media to tell us all about it. She shared a vinyl cover that shows her lighting a lighter and revealed her new album will be called Midnights.
Tracklist
The album cover that Swift shared also revealed that Midnights will feature a total of 13 tracks. Each song tells a story of a sleepless night scattered throughout her life, but she’s yet to announce the full tracklist and lead single from this record.
Swift’s Vision
Swift described Midnights as “a collection of music written in the middle of the night” and “a journey through terrors and sweet dreams.” She wrote this album for all people “who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching” in the hope they’ll meet themselves when the clock strikes twelve.
