After learning that actors Chris Pratt and Anna Faris will be separating, it is hard to believe in true love. The couple had been married for 8 years and we were sure that they would make it. However, Pratt issued a statement on Facebook about his separation, stating:
“Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”
Anna shared a similar message to Pratt’s on her Instagram explaining the situation. The couple first met back in 2007 on the set of the movie Take Me Home Tonight and got together shortly after. While everyone is disappointed that the power couple did not last, we enjoyed watching the two together over the past years.
Together Chris Pratt and Anna Faris have an almost 5 year old son and they have made it clear that he is both of their priorities at the moment.
