There’s always a lot of anticipation leading up to the Primetime Emmy Awards, and this year’s ceremony didn’t disappoint. In addition to giving trophies to some worthy contenders, this awards show put many amazing fashion trends on the map – starting with these five.
All-White
All-white outfits were all the rage at the Emmys this year – especially menswear. Andrew Garfield, Seth Rogen, Toheeb Jimoh, Nicholas Braun, and Jong Legend were some of the stars to hit the red carpet in classy white suits.
Classy Black Gowns
Speaking of classy looks at the Grammys, elegant black gowns brought some Old Hollywood glam to the red carpet, largely thanks to Zendaya and Elle Fanning.
Make It Shine
In the sea of black and white outfits, some stars decided to shine brighter than ever in their dazzling gowns. Amanda Seyfried, Sandra Oh, and Reese Witherspoon hit the red carpet in sequined or rhinestone-embellished outfits.
Brown Shades
Fall is just around the corner, and some of the night’s best looks came in different shades of brown, including the dresses worn by Christina Ricci, Quinta Brunson, and Lily James.
Subtle Pinks
Barbiecore craze put eye-catching pink shades on the map, but celebrities at the Emmys decided to take things down a notch. Blush and light pink dresses were quite popular, with the likes of Amanda Seyfried, Ayo Edebiri, and Hannah Waddingham embracing this trend.
