Mocktails
Non-alcoholic cocktails have been on the rise for quite some time and they’ve made it to countless lists of trend predictions for 2023, including Yelp’s.
Slushies
Yelp is predicting we’ll get more nostalgic than ever about our food and drink choices this year. Slushies are one of the retro trends making a huge comeback, and your favorite cafés and bars will put them back on the menu in 2023.
Dirty Soda
Dirty sodas are one of TikTok’s most popular drinks of 2022 and they’re not going anywhere. This Utah classic can be made with soda, cream, flavored syrup, or other sweeteners and it got Olivia Rodrigo’s approval last year.
Hojicha Tea
Yelp is also predicting the rise of several drinks from other cultures, including Hojicha tea—a Japanese green tea that happens to be much sweeter than matcha.
Michelagua
Michelagua is another international drink with a global appeal. It’s a non-alcoholic version of the traditional Mexican cocktail Michelada, usually made with lime juice, chili-based sauces, spices, and chili peppers.
