3 Marvel Projects to Look Forward to Following “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiered with a bang earlier this month, as the final film from the MCU’s Phase Four. Disney and Marvel have pretty much the whole Phase Five mapped out right now, but are any of these projects set to take us back to Wakanda?

Ironheart

Ironheart technically may not be taking place in Wakanda, but it’s one of the very few officially announced projects with a direct link to Black Panther 2. Brilliant teen scientist Riri Williams was first introduced in Wakanda Forever, and this series will chronicle her transformation into the superhero Ironheart.

Okoye Series

Danai Gurira’s Okoye is one of Black Panther’s best characters, and Disney+ is plotting a series that puts her front and center. This series was supposed to serve as the origin spin-off for the Dora Milaje general, but we’re yet to learn more about it.

Next “Black Panther” Movie?

Wakanda Forever ends with a message that reads “Black Panther will return,” so it is safe to assume this film will get a sequel. The follow-up is yet to be announced, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Letitia Wright return as Shuri in some of the upcoming MCU projects from Phase Five. After all, no Marvel movie is complete without some good cameos.
