We Can’t Get Enough of Sarah Hyland’s Four Wedding Dresses

She may be known for her role on Modern Family, but Sarah Hyland was the picture of classic elegance as she walked down the aisle.

Ever since flirting with each other on Twitter and then slipping into the DMs, Sara and The Bachelor star, Adam Wells, have had somewhat of a fairytale romance. The pair officially began dating in 2017, and although they got engaged two years later, the pandemic meant that their wedding had to be postponed until this August.

When the big day finally did arrive on August 20, the bride fulfilled her dream of wearing Vera Wang—not once, but twice! During her initial wedding planning, Sarah found a dress that she adored and had adjusted. By the time the planning resumed three years later, another gown had caught her eye. Instead of choosing between them, the starlet decided to wear both, and why not?!

Embracing her love of the Shakespearean era, the 31-year-old actress picked out a silk faille sweetheart ballgown in pale ivory that had a hand-pleated bodice and French tulle sleeves. She chose to then add pockets, lengthen the train, and include a French bustle. The second dress, made of embroidered lace, was form-fitting and featured draping Juliet sleeves.

As if that wasn’t enough, the bride changed into a Galia Lahav bias cut silk gown after cutting the cake, and then into a short beaded dress by Georges Hobeika Couture.

Rose and blush tones were used for Sarah’s make-up, with her skin kept glowy and her hair fairly simple to complement the outdoor nuptials at California’s Sunstone Winery.
