From Blake Lively to Beyoncé, all our favorite celebrities seem to have their own beverage brand these days, and Tom Holland is the next one in line. He made quite a splash on social media after announcing to launch of Bero, the non-alcoholic beer brand inspired by his sobriety journey.
Holland has been very open about his struggle with alcohol, and his detox started when he took part in Dry January over two years ago. Despite having a hard time embracing sobriety at first, he realized how much better and healthier it made him feel, so he decided to keep it going.
Holland started exploring the non-alcoholic beer scene during this time and found a space where he felt like he could belong. The launch of Bero was his attempt to “create something that reflected [his] lifestyle and values”, and he’s hoping it will be embraced not only by those on a similar path, but by everyone who “appreciates quality, craftsmanship, and living life to the fullest.”
Bero’s initial drop includes three flavors, and their names are quite personal for the Spider-Man actor. Kingston Golden Pils is named after Holland’s hometown, Edge Hill Hazy IPA is a homage to the actor’s primary school, while Noon Wheat borrows its name from his beloved dog.
