As if “American Horror Story” couldn’t shock us anymore, rumor has it there’s a surprise season of the TV show on the way. Murphy has built an empire of secrets with the hit TV show “American Horror Story” and his ability to surprise and impress time after time is truly impressive.
Ok, so it’s not totally a secret, since director Ryan Murphy let the cat out of the bag to Entertainment Weekly, but we’re still impressed that Murphy can top his incredible work season after season. The current season of “Roanoke” is currently keeping everyone on their toes and it’s hard to imagine that things can get crazier, but Murphy let fans know that his side project will be kept so secret, only two people know about it. For the next two years, he’ll be working with an unnamed writer on the project that might not even ever make it to television. That’s real commitment right there if we’ve ever seen it and we will be keeping our fingers crossed that this season makes it to television. In the meantime, “Roanoke” is satisfying our need for Murphy-ness.
