Refreshing Poolside Cocktails to Keep You Cool On the Hottest Days

493

There are few things we enjoy more come summer than relaxing by the pool or on the beach with a cold drink. We love a piña colada, and you can never go wrong with a strawberry daiquiri on a hot day, but sometimes we’re in the mood to mix it up a little. While there’s nothing wrong with sticking to the classics, if you’re looking to add some new drinks to your rotation, why not give one of these refreshing new cocktails a try? Sip them solo or prepare a pitcher and invite the neighbors to make it a poolside party.

Pineapple Margarita

Monique from Peaches to Peaches puts a summery spin on a classic cocktail by making her margaritas with pineapple. Serve it on the rocks or blend with ice for a refreshing drink that’s sure to hit the spot.

Raspberry Vodka Soda

Raspberries are in season from May to September, so what better way to use them up in July than by throwing them into this cocktail by Drinks by Evie? It’s also easily made kid-friendly by omitting the alcohol.

Watermelon Gin Fizz with Mint

Few things say summer as much as watermelon, and this delicious watermelon mint cocktail by Serendipity by Sara Lynn is one of our favorites. Fresh lime juice and seltzer give it a perfect summery twist.
