If your ideal Saturday morning involves an almond croissant and a cup of coffee, listen up, because this hack will provide both without even having to change out of your pajamas! Plus, your home will smell like a patisserie—what could be better?

Ingredients:

  • 4 store-bought croissants
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Slivered almonds

Almond Syrup

  • ¼ cup hot water
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract

Instructions:

  1. Make the almond syrup by mixing the almond extract, sugar, and water.
  2. Slice open the croissants and brush with the syrup.
  3. Combine the butter, brown sugar, egg, almond flour, vanilla, almond extract, and salt to make the almond cream filling. You want the consistency of buttercream.
