We’re heading into a new year and that means a host of new beauty trends are on the horizon! But in order to welcome in the new, you have to clear some space. Here are the trends to leave behind in 2022 and what to get excited about in 2023!
Pop of Color
Bright and bold is the aesthetic we’re going for, come 2023. Expect shades like lilac and periwinkle blue to adorn eyes, while magenta is set to shine on lips as the Pantone Color of the Year.
Eye Candy
‘90s grunge will still be a huge thing in the new year. Think spiky black lashes and loads of eyeliner that has been slightly smudged to give that “slept in” look. Also, play around with products that give a pearlescent effect.
Cool It On the Contour
As far as skin is concerned, the main trend in 2023 will be “your skin but better”. That means ditch the contour, bronzer, and highlighter; and swap it out for products that will make your skin appear natural and glowy. Even better if they contain skincare!
