With a sigh of relief, Leonardo DiCaprio entered the Vanity Fair annual Oscar party to celebrate his win.
The event took place at a custom designed space in Beverly Hills. All the A-list attended this party, Taylor Swift and her brother drifted through the crowd while pregnant Anne Hathaway chatted to Eddie Redmayne’s pregnant wife, Hannah Bagshawe. Other guests included John Legend, Sofia Vergara,Tina Fey, Kate Upton, and Nick Jonas.
Besides the winner, an intimate dinner was prepared by French Laundry and Thomas Keller of Per Se. For the 150 guests, a menu of upscale comfort food was presenting including chicken pot pies, black truffle lasagna and banana splits.
The party that followed was set inside a space accented with thousands of orange and beige roses, including 1,400 lighting fixtures, with a 60-foot long silver bar taking center stage. There was also a balcony bar framed by greens offered casual seating for guests and endless glasses of Henriot Champagne.
The chefs also prepared a special menu for partygoers which included fried chicken poppers, house-made hot dogs and cupcakes.
It was definitely one of the hottest parties of the year, that we all secretly wish we were invited to.
