3 Tips for Keeping Your Kitchen Clutter-Free

If decluttering your kitchen is something you’ve been putting off, don’t worry, we’re here to help. As the space where we store so many gadgets, appliances, utensils, and containers, the kitchen tends to become overloaded fairly quickly. Here are three tips to get you started.

Start Small

They say that starting is always the hardest part. With that in mind, don’t go for the largest task first. Begin with a small area and work your way up to more overwhelming ones like defrosting the fridge.

Release and Recycle

Be honest—you still have containers with missing lids, leaking dishes, and broken appliances sitting in your cupboard taking up space. While we always have the intention to sort them out, it doesn’t always happen. Instead of holding out hope, just let them go. Donate them, sell them, whatever you do, just say goodbye.

Get Grouping

One of the best ways to stay organized is by storing similar items together and keeping countertops clear. Place containers with mixing bowls and jars, and pots and pans with roasting trays. Not only will this prevent clutter, but it will also make it much easier to find whatever you’re looking for.
