3 Sports to Try if You Love Tennis

Exercise is a hugely important thing to factor into our weekly schedules. There are loads of options for exercise choice with a popular one being to play a sport with other people due to the social and competitive element to it. Tennis is a hugely popular sport around the world, and if you love it as a game then you may well love these other sports which share similarities.

Squash

This fun game is very similar to tennis, but instead of the game being played freely on a court with no limits, the court is boxed in by walls. The racquets are very similar to the ones used for tennis, but the balls are quite different.

Badminton

This game is more like tennis in the sense that there are no walls to enclose the court, but the racquets are very different, and feathered shuttlecocks are used instead of balls. The rules are different from tennis, but you can still enjoy the sensation of hitting the shuttlecock as hard as you can.

Padel

Similarly to squash, this game is played in a court encased by four walls. However, as opposed to squash the walls are partially made up of glass and the rest of metal caging. The walls at each far end are glass, and different rules apply depending on whether the ball hits the glass or the metal caging. The racquets are also very unlike tennis racquets and are chunkier and made entirely of hard plastic.
