We came into the final two episodes of Stranger Things 4 fearing for the lives of all our favorite characters. They put up a good fight against Vecna, but some of them failed to make it out alive. Take a look at the most memorable deaths from Volume 2 that got everyone talking following the season finale (Spoilers ahead!)
Jason Carver
22 Hawkins citizens died in an “earthquake”, which was caused by Vecna when he opened up the barrier between the Upside Down and Hawkins. Jason Carver was one of them, but it’s difficult to feel sorry for him after he spent an entire season trying to hunt down the members of Hellfire after accusing them of being a murderous cult.
Dr. Brenner
Dr. Brenner was even more hated than Jason, but he’s one of the rare old characters to die in Volume 2. Despite torturing Eleven for the entirety of the series, he still sacrificed his life to help her escape from military men who were trying to capture her.
Eddie Munson
Eddie Munson was introduced in the final season of Stranger Things and quickly became a fan favorite. As it usually goes with beloved new characters, the writers sacrificed him to keep the main cast alive. He didn’t run away from the fight and spent his final moments helping lure Demobats away from the rest of the gang.
