There is a high chance that if you check our refrigerator in the middle of the month you will probably find a block of cheese, a tub of Greek yogurt, some eggs, and maybe a half-opened bottle of wine. Not the best selection if someone is coming over last minute…

While the eggs and cheese can be turned into an omelet, here is a way to transform your yogurt into a super easy dessert.


  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (whole or 2%)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer.
  2. Mix at low speed to start, then increase to high and whip for around 5 minutes until the mixture is thick and stiff. 
  3. You can choose to refrigerate the parfait so it will thicken up even more, or serve it as is with fruit and your other favorite toppings.
