Scrolling through Pinterest and Instagram can often leave you with home envy. The surfaces are sparkling clean, the cushions don’t have stains, and there isn’t pet hair all over the rug. If you want your house to look just as immaculate, here are some hacks to remove those pesky marks that are spoiling your aesthetic.
Pots and Pan
Is stubborn residue sticking to your cookware? Make them disappear by adding a combination of lemons, baking soda, and vinegar. Bring it all to a boil and watch the grime vanish.
Stovetops
Sprinkle some baking soda all over your stovetop and top it off with a squeeze of lemon. The mixture will begin to sizzle. Then, use the half-cut lemon to wipe it all away.
Air Fryers
Make a concoction of dish soap, vinegar, and water. Add it to the air fryer, and allow the machine to run for five minutes. Pour the solution out and watch the dirt go with it.
Water Rings
Did someone put down a glass without a coaster? Don’t worry, that wooden table can be saved. Place a wet dish towel over the water ring and then iron over it. Wipe and see the ring melt away!
Shower Heads
Fill a plastic ziplock bag with half a lemon and pour in some vinegar. Tie the bag around the shower head using an elastic band and allow it to sit for about an hour. The solution will descale the shower head and remove the dirt inside of it.
Mirrors
Grab a tea bag and dip it in hot water. Scrub the mirror using the wet tea bag and watch how shiny it becomes.
