Thor: Love and Thunder
Chris Hemsworth spent an entire decade wielding the hammer Mjolnir as Thor, but he won’t be the only one doing it anymore. We’ll watch Natalie Portman transform into Mighty Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder, after undergoing cancer treatment that gave her powers similar to Thor’s.
Where the Crawdads Sing
Despite not featuring any superheroes or female warriors, Where the Crawdads Sing still manages to be one of the summer’s best female-driven films. It’s based on Delia Owens’ best-selling novel of the same name and follows the adventures of a young woman who gets accused of murder after growing up as a miscast in the marshes of the deep South.
