The lack of time is the most common excuse people use for not working out. If your schedule is so packed you can’t imagine setting an hour aside to hit the gym, it’s time to give mini workouts a shot. You can find time for them no matter how busy you are and here are three reasons to give them a shot.
Effective Break
Mini workouts can be anywhere between 5 to 15 minutes long, which means you can do them while taking a break from work. There’s no need to book a gym session when you can do a short workout during your break, and you’ll especially apricate them if you’re doing a desk job.
Baby Steps
If you’re at the very start of your fitness journey, mini workouts are a great way to start. Working out for ten minutes a day may not feel like a lot, but once you start, you won’t want to stop, and your workouts will become longer over time.
Higher Intensity
Short workouts often tend to be more intense than long ones, allowing you to burn more calories and fat. Since you know you won’t be working out for a whole hour, you can make your mini workouts as intense as possible and push yourself to the limits.
