Simply combine 2 cups of white sugar, ¼ cup of lemon juice, and ¼ cup of water in a saucepan and cook it on medium-heat until the sugar dissolves and turns golden brown. Stir it occasionally to prevent it from burning, and remove it from the heat once it has a consistency like honey.
Instead of sugar, this wax uses honey for the caramelizing process. Mix 1 cup of honey with ¼ cup of lemon juice and ¼ cup of water in a saucepan. Bring it to a simmer over medium heat while stirring occasionally. Let it cook for about 15-20 minutes until it thickens up, then remove it from the heat and let it cool down.
