]]>Look at your deadlines and prioritize according to urgency and importance. There’s no point ticking off a bunch of tasks that can wait if you’re simply putting off a more pressing job. Organize your list in order of priority and use colored markers to denote categories.
If your to-do list has become long and unwieldy, it’s a good idea to condense it. Some tasks that seemed relevant on Monday might not be on Wednesday. Cut out any tasks that have become irrelevant and you will start to feel the stress melting away!
Larger tasks are the most overwhelming and scary. If you’re feeling stuck, break down larger projects into small, manageable and actionable tasks. That way, you can tick things off more often, releasing dopamine into your brain and making you feel more productive!
Come up with a reward system so you feel more motivated to complete the items on your list. Finished 5 tasks? Have a cup of tea and a biscuit. Working on that thing you’ve been putting off all week? Plan to take a 30-minute break once you’re done!

]]>There’s nothing quite like getting lost in the pages of a captivating book. Select a genre that ignites your imagination, whether it’s a thrilling mystery, an inspiring self-help book, or a fictional world of fantasy. Curl up in your favorite reading nook, sip on a warm cup of tea, and let the words transport you to another realm.
Turn up the volume and let the rhythm take over. Create a playlist of your favorite tunes or discover new songs that resonate with your soul. Lose yourself in the melodies, dance like nobody’s watching, and feel the stress melt away with each beat. Music has a remarkable ability to uplift our spirits and help us unwind.
Indulge in self-care rituals that nurture your mind, body, and spirit. Take a relaxing bubble bath, apply a face mask, or give yourself a soothing massage. Treat yourself to a moment of pure indulgence and allow the worries of the day to fade away.
Tap into your creative side and engage in activities that allow you to express yourself. Paint, draw, write, or play a musical instrument. Let your imagination run wild and give yourself permission to explore without judgment. Engaging in creative endeavors helps channel your energy into something positive and rejuvenating.
Engage in physical activity to release built-up stress and boost endorphins. Whether it’s a brisk walk, a yoga session, a dance class, or a full-blown workout, find an exercise routine that suits your preferences and energizes your body. As you move, you’ll feel the stress melt away, leaving you feeling refreshed and invigorated.

]]>There’s something to be said about the way we’re influenced by our environment. When we’re at work, we know that we’re there to work. When we’re at home, it can be hard for some to mentally convince themselves that their home is now also a place of work. If you go to a cafe, you can make it your new “place of work”.
A big part of this mentality shift also has to do with distractions. At home, we have endless distractions. Of course, this depends heavily on what our family situation looks like, but even when we’re alone, we may procrastinate more by watching another Netflix show, or whatever it is. At a cafe, you’re on a mission, and less likely to be distracted.
If you’re at a cafe, you’ve got endless stores of freshly brewed coffee to keep you going. You do have to pay for it, but hey, it’s for work purposes!
