]]>Met Gala co-chair Dua Lipa fully embraced the “Chanel bride” trend in Chanel’s vintage 1995 gown originally worn by Claudia Schiffer. She finished the look with a 100-carat Tiffany & Co. diamond necklace.
Pearls were one of Karl Lagerfeld’s signatures, and Kim Kardashian’s dress would certainly make him proud. Her Schiaparelli gown featured a silky corset bodice, while the rest of it was entirely made of pearls.
Hathaway did a great job merging the DNK of Channel and Versace into a single dress. Her white gown looked straight out of the 90s and featured everything from pearls to safety pins.
Rihanna’s Met Gala outfits never disappoint, and she gave us two looks in one this time around. She brought some drama to the red carpet with a floral Valentino hoodie, and later took it off to reveal an equally stunning white dress.
Bündchen attended the Met Gala on her own for the first time since 2006 and looked better than ever in the vintage 2007 Chanel couture gown. She made the look even more dramatic by wearing a feathered cape.

]]>The theme of this year’s Met Gala will be Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. According to the Costume Institute’s official press release, this exhibition will focus on the designer’s stylistic vocabulary and unique working methodology. It will feature 150 pieces accompanied by sketches, underscoring his complex creative process and the collaborative relationships.
This year’s Met Gala will take place on May 1, 2023 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City. The invitation for this event is one of the most sought-after in the world, and all the proceeds from the tickets go towards the Costume Institute. Following the Met Gala, the exhibition will be open to the public on May 5.
Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has been Met Gala’s chairwoman since 1995, and she’ll return in that role. She’ll be joined by the pop sensation Dua Lipa, Emmy-winning actress and screenwriter Michaela Coel, Spanish superstar Penelope Cruz, and tennis icon Roger Federer.

Kim Kardashian is that one celebrity who isn’t afraid to be extra no matter the occasion. While people have debated her look, we absolutely loved it. She won the theme by arriving at the Met in the dress that Marylin Manroe wore when she sang to the president of America in 1962 for his birthday.
Even though this was Apatow’s first time attending the Met Gala, she did not disappoint. She arrived in a gorgeous black gown by Miu Miu, accompanied by Cartier jewelry. The dress worked seamlessly with the hair and make-up to create an out-of-this-world “Gilded Glamour” look.
