Sure, you can also read a book at home or at a library, but let’s be honest—people who read books at beaches look pretty cool doing it. And when there’s a nice shady umbrella above you, a beach can be one of the most relaxing places to read a book.

Hanging With Family

Even if you don’t love the beach, chances are that someone in your family does. Heck, if you have kids, who’s to say they won’t be obsessed with the ocean or the sand? If they do, you’ll feel good knowing that you gave them that experience.
