It has taken almost two years for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to settle their divorce agreement after the reality star filed to end the marriage in February 2021. Under the terms, the “Use This Gospel” rapper has been ordered to pay his ex-wife $200,000 per month in child support. 

Here are some other celebrity splits that got very expensive. 

Madonna and Guy Ritchie — $76 Million

Madonna and Guy Ritchie had been married for almost 8 years when the “4 Minutes” singer filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. During their marriage, the pair had welcomed a biological son, Rocco, and adopted another son, David. Two months after filing, Madonna signed a settlement which granted The Gentlemen director at least $76 million, including the couple’s London pub and residence and Wiltshire estate in England.

Steven Spielberg and Amy Irving — $100 Million

Amy Irving and Steven Spielberg began dating after she auditioned for the West Side Story director in 1976. Following a four year marriage, they called it quits in 1989. Although the couple had reportedly created a prenuptial agreement, it was scribbled on a napkin and deemed invalid by a California judge. As such, Irving was awarded around half of Spielberg’s fortune at the time.

Jeff Bezos and MacKenzie Scott

The most-expensive divorce settlement in history belongs to Jeff Bezos and McKenzie Scott who dissolved their 25-year marriage in 2019. The couple never signed a prenup, and Scot was given a partial stake in Amazon worth an estimated $38 billion as part of the divorce agreement, making her the second-wealthiest woman in the world at the time.
