Here is how to show those oil-based blemishes who’s boss.
Take some dishwashing liquid and apply it to the stain. Rub the soap lightly over the area and sprinkle on some baking soda. The soda will cause the oil to lift out of the fibers. Squeeze a few drops of lemon juice over the stain and watch as it foams up.
Using a brush, scrub the stain and rub the soap and baking soda mixture into the fabric. Allow everything to sit for a period of at least 5 minutes.
Once the solution has had time to work, place the garment into the washing machine or rinse it by hand. The greasy stain should have vanished, but if not, repeat the process. Always make sure to check before ironing item as that will cause the stain to set.
