]]>This is not the first time that the weather has influenced how we do our make-up. During summer, the “sunburned make-up” trend made us look as though we had spent the day at the beach with blush applied to the cheeks and bridge of the nose. Think of the “cold girl make-up” look as the wintry version with a few little changes.
Whereas summer is all about dewy skin, cold girl make-up looks best with a matte base. Eyelids can be frosty with shimmery shadow, and you want to give your lips a “just kissed” effect with a red or pink in the centre that has been blended out.
As for the blush—the most important element!—think of where you naturally go pink from being in the cold. Dab some blush on your cheeks, the tip of your nose, and above your cupid’s bow.
