Step #2

The key to a good red lip is precision. The best way to achieve this is by lining your lip with a pencil in a matching shade. Make sure the pencil is sharp and begin at your Cupid’s bow, following your natural lip line. Feel free to color in your lips a little—this will help the lipstick stay on. 

Step #3

Time to apply the star of the show! Whether you’re using a cream or liquid lipstick, press the edge of it to the border of your lips to guide you. Use a tissue to blot and then apply another layer.
