]]>The first thing you need to ask yourself is how far along you are. If you’re in your first trimester, you can travel, but you’ll be so nauseous that you may not have any interest in doing so. If you’re in your second trimester, this is the sweet spot, and the best chance you’ll have for quality travel. If you’re in your last trimester, you probably shouldn’t go anywhere and stay safe at home.
Another thing you need to consider is where you’re traveling to. For instance, it’s a lot more risky and dangerous for a pregnant woman to go on a flight that’s over 10 hours. Those kinds of trips aren’t recommended late in the game, although they are doable in the first and second trimester. Short trips, however, enable a lot more leniency—and you can probably sneak in a two-hour flight during your seventh or eighth month (although we wouldn’t recommend the latter).
