Whether you call it the “clean girl aesthetic”, or just admire someone that looks put-together, you know exactly the type of people we’re talking about. Even when they claim they only had a few minutes to get ready, somehow they still look good! How?? Well, here’s one trick to always looking put together!

The power of manicured nails is huge. If you look at any of these “polished” people, almost every single one of them has their nails done. Now, this doesn’t mean you need to spend hundreds of dollars on your nails. It just means that if you want to look super put-together, making sure that your nails look good makes a huge difference. This means spending time on your cuticles and nail beds. You don’t even have to have polish on if you take care of this properly!

Of course, adding that extra step of polish is a nice touch that really pulls it together. If you don’t have time to do your nails frequently, you can try a gel or dip powder option that will last for weeks. These options also prevent a huge clean-girl no-no, which is chipped polish! If your nails are chipped, this could actually take away from your look rather than add. 

This is also why it’s a good idea to select a light, natural color! That way, even if there are a few chips, it’s not as noticeable.
